Drinks were spot on, great place for a night cap. Not sure about the food, we just went for drinks.

Nestled behind an unsespecting corner, this speakeasy combines vintage charm with a modern vibe. Ladylove is, without a doubt, the crown jewel of Bishop Arts. I've been lucky enough to visit multiple times, and every single experience has been nothing short of spectacular. The vibe here? Eclectic, inviting, and full of personality. The vinyl selection alone could keep you browsing (and grooving) for hours, but what truly makes this spot stand out is the amazing staff. They're not just friendly--they're genuinely passionate about music, food, and drinks, which makes every visit feel like you're part of something special. The Bring Your Own Vinyl (BYOV) nights are pure genius. It's a unique and interactive experience, watching people share their favorite records while discovering new tunes. And the themed nights? Always so well-done and fun, they keep you coming back for more. Between the craft drinks, cozy atmosphere, and incredible music, Ladylove has something for everyone. Whether you're a die-hard vinyl fan, a foodie, or just someone looking for a laid-back yet vibrant place to chill, this spot is an absolute must-visit. Trust me, you'll leave with a smile, a full stomach, and maybe a new favorite record.

I have been wanting to come here for a while. All of my dj friends have have played here, but never got a chance to come. It was a Friday night and it wants to busy by the time we made it in. We instantly got served at the bar. The drink was alright, and very pricy. The dj was playing funky 70s music. Everyone was sitting down on tables even though there was a dance floor. WE tried to dance, but was hard to dance to slow 70s music. Overall, it wasn't my vibe, so i May not come back. If you like funky 70s, this place is for you.

Check the calendar for the vibe you want before going. I went on neo soul night on a Tuesday. I returned on a Tuesday and the music was different. But still a cool spot. Free to get in. Lite bites and good drinks.

I was strolling around the Bishop Arts area and followed loud music to LadyLove Lounge & Sound. I found LadyLove tucked away in a corner behind the main street. The entrance wasn't very obvious to me since it was covered with curtains, but once inside I was pleased to find a fun-looking lounge. What's cool is that each night featured different DJs playing different genres. On this particular night, there was an EDM DJ who had quite the local following. Bartenders were fine. Not the friendliest bartenders I've ever met, but bottom line was that my drink (CDMX 1920) was made well. I ended up making friends with a couple of patrons, who were there to support the DJ. We shared bar bites including cheesy chicken nuggets and French onion dip. The cheesy nuggets were surprisingly very good. The French onion dip tasted exactly as I expected - like a chunky French onion soup. It came with a plate of fresh veggies and toasted pitas.

Tuesday night visit December 2023 Neosoul night, as promoter via their Instagram. Go find & Follow. Dj's : Fab_roc_ & Djchubbeswag 8:00-12:00 (I stayed until around 10) It was a vibe all night. I walked in to some old school music. Think Lenny Williams type music. Parking: There IS a lot right outside of the establishment. However, I parked in front of Barons Creek Vineyards (from the way I was coming, that restaurant and Lady Love were on my right side). It was a short walk. And no parking meter. There was a sign for that area, but I forgot what it said. It didn't apply-- Ambiance: dim lit. music wasnt too loud where you couldn't hear others. Solo outing friendly. Healthier crowd after 9:30 pm- more chatter because people are standing up due to no seating. Inside: Smaller, cozy. Limited seating. Those arriving late-- please understand you will be standing up. Seat yourself. Limited tables. I got there at 7:55 for an 8:00 vibe. There were 3 tables available. People did leave once the music shifted, though. If you arrive around 8:30-9:00, you may have to stand up / hover around for a seat. One waitress (it did take a little while to get my order taken. Who I assumed to be a manager or owner did step in and help the waitress with waiting tables. They needed one more person, I believe, to help with the crowd. Drinks/food ordered : In tongues 3/5 -$12 wouldn't reorder. There was something overpowering the drink. If I did re-order, I would ask for 1/2 ounce more of the peach Monin, and less of the tea. La Tona 4/5 $11 wouldn't have to have again but I would. It was the best drink for me for that night. Cute champagne glass. Purple rain $14 Absolutely not. I sent it back. The toasted coconut-- I should've known better. If lotion had a taste, it's that. Ordered a Lemon Drop as a replacement. $10 well plus $3 flavor. $13. I wouldn't reorder this. 2.5/5. It tasted like something watered down was mixed into it. Food: Pesto Sliders (3) $15. I put the pesto on the side. I would re-order, but I'm probably coming here next time after I eat somewhere else. I was VIBING ALL NIGHT. songs like "Freak like me" Adina Howard, "Sitting up in my Room" Brandy, "When I see you" Fantasia, "Never too much" Luther Vandross, "Superstar," Usher, "Candy Rain," Soul for Real" a good mix- not all Neosoul but good nonetheless. Around 9:45 they started playing songs I wasn't familiar with. Cons: People came in smelling like weed. I really hate that.. truly. But that's not the Lady Love's fault. What I would do next time: Opt to sit on stage (but not directly under the sign- so I won't be in everyone's pictures). This way, when it gets late and more crowded, people aren't standing right beside my table Try other drinks-- even ones not on the menu. Arrive 10-15 minutes before start time for seating Bring a friend to share the vibe. I'll be back !

Suppppppeeerrrrrr cute retro speakeasy! If you're looking to step out on a whim with your girls, have good drinks, dance to 70's vinyl and go home at a decent hour, this is it!!!! Seating is open so get there as soon as you can or you'll be standing! It's such a cure hidden gem. The drinks were amazing and they even had popcorn you can order. The decor is a dream and very nostalgic and who doesn't love to dance to a live DJ who's actually playing music from VINYLS while being mesmerized by a disco ball?!? I loved every moment of my experience. It's loud but to be expected and had a great mixed crowd! The only reason I gave it a 4 was bc it was hard to find, which may be intentional lol. Otherwise, perfect venue!

I LOVE every inch of this place. For the House music lovers that are familiar with Houston's "The Flat" the vibe is similar. The staff is jubilee, the music is absolutely fantastic and just what OC was missing. Every day there is a different dj that comes on set to soon some fantastic vinyl. I've been on almost every day of the week and it's all good. The decor is super cool and makes me feel like I'm I a. Swanky dance spot that has a laid back fun vibe. Ive had several different types of mixed cocktails and I still can't say I'm a super fan of them yet. I hope they are trying to find that right bartender. We've had some of the food items, popcorn is a little dry but hey at-least they got poppy corn. A few dips, nothing to write home about. So I'd say the entire music vibe is why I come the food is a bonus in the event that your hungry after that dance fest your about to have.

Went to check out LadyLove with a group of friends on their opening weekend and couldn't be more impressed! There's really nothing else like it in OC and if you're a fan of Double D's, you'll love it here. Not only were the vibes perfection, the bar staff had their routine down pat -- you would have never guessed it was only their second night open to the public plus full occupancy and a line down the block. The cocktail program is really unique (the Leather Daddy is so fun) and all the food coming out looked amazing. Can't wait to go back and try it on a more mellow weeknight!
